"Expedia advertised it falsely by stating there was a white Sandy beach and there was not a Sandy beach but 20 minutes away false advertisement. Overpriced. Poor restaurant, food, limited selection, and overpriced."

"The ocean was visible from most areas.ofnthe resort. Food was fresh, rooms excellent - cleanand roomy. "

"This hotel is small and slightly short staffed. Service is slow but friendly. The room had an amazing view but flying insects were a problem for us. The water goes from hot to cold. Beds were comfortable. The rooms are not modern but for the price and the beach it's well worth it. Emerald Beach is gorgeous and this hotel shines because of it. Also the food here is very good but expensive. No elevators. I would stay again. "

"We booked a balcony penthouse and the patio space was very nice. The only downside was a neighboring suite with guests that were chain smoking. The desk advised us they could send security. Fortunately it was our last day when they checked in and only ruined one morning. "

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hilltop bar is very laid-back and relaxing. The other pool has things going on all day to keep you entertained. There isn't that much of an option for eating on property. The restaurant food isn't good. And the coffee shop a bit overpriced. The location is great for getting to Redhook and catching the ferry to St John. "

"The only complaint I had was that the hotel offered a bay view room, which I chose. However, couldn’t see the bay because they neglected to say that cruise ships docked right outside our window every damn day. "

"Honestly the room was very underwhelming. It was beaten up like it had seen heavy use for many years- a couple of the doors didn’t close right, and most importantly, the AC couldn’t keep up and the shower pressure was horrible. "
