Great hotel! Staff were lovely, house keeping was a bit lousy however and the food is very average (dinner buffet service). Apart from that it’s a beautiful hotel with lots to see around the property and the views are spectacular.

Everything was good only thing was no room service and also one person taking orders at the bar pool area with almost 100 people the day I was there. It was slow and couldn’t get my food and drinks fast enough

What should have been a joyful wedding anniversary stay at Isla Brown Hilton Chania, Crete a 5 days stay, turned into one of the most cruel and humiliating experiences we’ve ever had at a hotel. 💔 On approaching the receptionist Alexandros to request a second key to our Deluxe Seaview Junior suite, he refused to greet us, avoided eye contact, and rudely denied us a second key to our suite. The next day, after personally calling for housekeeping, fresh sheets, and 2 pillows, we came back hours later to find our room untouched — a deliberate act that felt like bullying and discrimination. When we brought this to the General Manager, instead of resolving it, he dismissed us, defended the staff, and even insinuated we were lying. Yet, the very pillows we requested magically appeared in our room later. The contradiction was undeniable. No couple celebrating their anniversary — or any guest — should be treated with such disrespect, cruelty, and lack of hospitality at a Hilton resort. This experience has left us shocked, exhausted, and deeply disappointed.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to Venetian town.

The resort itself was beautiful, plenty of activities around the area as well. The dinner option wasn’t included (we were under the impression it was) and it was quite pricey. You can go to several restaurants for half the price of the dinner at Isla Brown.

Lovely property and rooms but pool area was so loud due to an afternoon DJ. Our on was lovely but in a noisy section - downstairs near shop, table tennis area and bar. I think it’s important to know where your room is. Pool was lovely.

Chania latest Gem!

This hotel is a real fabulous find! From the moment you step foot through the door, the wow factor is there! Warmest of welcome's and the happiest of staff. Nothing is to much trouble and the staff are very happy to help with local places to visit. Although all the facilities are not yet available as the hotel is only two weeks old. You really do not notice. The gym is 24/7 and the pools are full size.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday at Isla Brown Chania! The staff is warm and welcoming, the environment and views are stunning. I got some spa treatments and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. Book your vacation for next season, don’t hesitate. Yes, if you want to see Crete, you’ll need a car- but we loved driving and there are many wonderful places to stop and visit if you have the flexibility of a car. And we enjoyed not being in the busy town on many days. We couldn’t have been happier with our entire stay and will never forget this trip. Thank you Isla Brown!!

1. The hotel is beautiful and offers a relaxing environment with a high standard or decor throughout. 2. There is a good level of cleanliness with spacious rooms and large balconies. 3. There are plenty of comfortable poolside seating with snacks and drinks available until 6pm. 4. The staff are friendly and approachable. Frustratingly there is a lack of communication and attention to detail which negatively impacted our stay and fell below my expectations of a hotel under the hilton umbrella. Most of my issues about this hotel relate to restaurants. Due to the rural location it was improtant to have a variety of options on-site but the information on the website and inside the hotel is misleading. 1. The à la carte restaurant ELEONAS is open for part of this season as only (actual months it is open is not advertised anywhere) 2. Despite the hotel room providing a room service menu/ opening times there is no room service available - you will not be informed of this until you attempt to order. 3. During my stay the buffet restaurant KRETE went between à la carte and buffet without notice ‘because they had by buffet booking. This varied the cost of dinner for 2 people from €30 à la carte to €68 for buffet. 4. Buffet options were mostly cold and lack variety. 5. There are no telephone numbers listed for internal calls such as reception so needed to use my personal phone to call the website number for any assistance. Hotel buildings is not prepared for bad weather. First day of lightening, thunder and torrential rain, water came through bedroom door. Rang to get towels to stem the flow. Visit to reception and another phone call, two hours or so later, still nothing. Went to reception again. Was told no other rooms available. Managed to get some towels then, told someone will come to clean up/see to problem. Was told several times – no action. Next morning, went to reception, showed young receptionist pictures. By now there was thick mud outside the door, dirtying our footwear, feet, legs and clothes (from splash back). Slippery. She apologised and said she will send someone. This was the only apology we received the multiple times we spoke to other hotel staff in person/telephone calls. After breakfast, we could see some attempt had been made to clear the mud. A groundsman arrived and said he doesn’t what to do. He had a conversation with a couple of hotel staff who was working on a nearby room to sort something out. Some boarding was subsequently placed over the now muddy pool of water. Weather affected the hotel lobby (towels placed around floor areas), outside bar was slippery. When we arrived, we were told we were upgraded from garden room to sea view. However, the main view is a building. Felt downgraded. We made the mistake of not asking questions before accepting the 'upgraded' room.

Das Hotel war absolut ok. Für mich waren es 4 Sterne. Die Auswahl an Frühstück war reichlich. Die Mitarbeiter waren bemüht. Ich würde bei meinem nächsten Kreta Urlaub aber ein anderes Hotel buchen.

Hôtel récent, agréable avec des chambres très spacieuses, même pour les voyageurs solo. La vue de la piscine et du bar est magnifique et l’on peut y admirer de très beaux couchers de soleil. L’hôtel étant excentré, un véhicule est nécessaire si l’on souhaite profiter de l’île.
