"I usually stay at the nearby Shangri-la. But Shangqri-la wanted too much money this trip. So I gave Days Hotel a try. Days Hotel is located in middle of downtown, on 8th floor of luxury shopping mall. I was happy with my choice. Staff upgraded me to a suite. Also, staff was attentive. "Wanjia Hupan (Waterfront) hotel is a smaller eatablisment near the South Lake in Changchun. Upon arrival, I noticed the carpet in the room hadn't been hoovered. The bathroom floor still had former guests hair on it. I called housekeeping (using Chinese) to let them know about my dissatisfaction. They came with a small brush, intended to swipe up the dirt on the floor and on the carpet. I told them they need to use a vacuum cleaner. Eventually they brought one, a vacuum cleaner I only saw once...
