"A festinating old property. Somewhere up to 200 years old so lots of history. Has had a good facelift, in that the origins are still visible. Even the floors creaked appropriately. Staff was first rate, both for the check in and breakfast. Accommodated us in English with no hesitation. We did not have a dinner reservation and they were full with a bus tour, but arranged a take away dinner for us to eat in the library with our own wine. They supplied the glasses.
