"Could have been a lot warmer. The selection was okay but it was not very warm even though we were there by 7:30 in the morning."

"Beautifully and uniquely decorated hotel, amazingly friendly and helpful staff from the valet to the check-in person to housekeeping. And, since I am "old" (in my 40s), I cannot tell you how much I appreciated the fact that they had a real working phone inside the room. I forgot my toothbrush, and all I had to do was lift the receiver and hit the "front desk" button--just like back in the day! We also ordered room service--it was such a pleasure not having to go downstairs after we were comfy in our PJs after a long day. It has been so long since I've stayed in a hotel with a functioning phone, and that to me was a wonderful amenity. They also had very comfy pillows and the rooms were clean & nice. I would highy recommend staying here if you're visiting Chapel Hill. Thanks!"

"Checked in late night after a long flight. I did not stay in the room for more than 15 minute. The environment was a drug invested nightmare. The rooms was horribly filthy and smelly. Roaches were crawling on the walls. We literally ran out of the room and back to the office to request a refund but was told we would have to speak to the manager on the day shift. However, no one answers the phone for location service so matter was left unresolved. I was forced to Lyft to another Hotel which costed more money, on top of having to pay for the other room at a higher price. Was fortunate that they had one last vacant room. This was definitely the most horrible experience that my daughter and I have ever had on a vacation. I’ve been using Hotels.com for several years now but after this experience I will likely never book through Hotels.com again."
