"We stayed two nights and had a pool view room with balcony. I was impressed with the condition of the hotel and friendly reception of the hotel staff, we enjoyed the stay and everything was perfect. We did not opt for the breakfast or eat at the restaurant but the menu looked very good and I could see other people enjoying the breakfast and what appeared to be a very nice buffet. We easily walked to old town and also to the ferry docks each way for the crossing to Tangier which is highly recommended. We walked to the beach about 5 minutes and watched the sunset, parking at the hotel for our rental car was free, safe, and secure. We rented a car from the Malagra airport and drove to Tarifa in a few short hours, we were able to see Gibraltar and Tangier easily with plenty of time for looking around in 3 days and two nights in the hotel. I would say that the other reviews we read of this hotel were slightly underrated and we found it to be outstanding and highly recommended. "
