Lovely boutique-style built run hotel. Everything is exactly as described and pictured. We only stayed a night to break a long journey prior to flying out of SJO the following afternoon, but there's plenty to do in the area and it would make a great base if staying a little longer. Very comfortable beds, it was one of our best nights sleep of our trip! We had dinner in Alajuela, about 10 mins drive away with loads of choice, and went back to the town to kill a couple of hours the next day...

Perfect first night hotel after a long flight. The hotel arranged an airport pick up for us. The room was very comfortable. All the staff were friendly & helpful. Food at the restaurant was great and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely amazing setting to this property. We felt like we were in the middle of the rainforest but with convenient access also to the pool & hot springs. The food was good too. Being so far out of town was not a problem without a car as all the tour services came to collect us from the hotel.

Helpful friendly staff, good food, clean and well equipped rooms and superb gardens with a host of birds. Can't fault it.

This is a lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings. Close enough to central San Jose and the hotel staff are very good at recommending a good route to walk to see all that San Jose has to offer. Really lovely restaurant. Thoroughly recommended

Very clean, located close to airport and city mall is walking distance with food options. Cozy rooms, adequate parking if you rented a car. Helpful staff.

Massive room which was perfectly clean. Great location, handy to the airport. In the grounds of the hotel there are a number of shops and an excellent outdoor area which had comfortable seating, nice music and lots of really good quality food trucks offering everything from Thai to Indian to Cuban and more. Highly recommended for a relaxing evening with good food. Breakfast at AC is great but make sure you book with your room as it’s very expensive to pay at breakfast. Around £30 per person...

We arrived very late at night due to a 4 hour delay on our flight. We were warmly greeted and shown to our lodge. It was clean and very comfortable just what we wanted after our very long day. The next morning the view from our balcony took our breath away, we were totally in the rainforest!! It was difficult to get the kids out of the hammocks on the balcony as they could have lazed there all day. Breakfast is simple but delicious- all freshly cooked. We only stayed 2 nights but I wish we had...

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay here, the staff were without exception friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant, food was lovely, however I thought a little pricey. Breakfast was excellent and included. Trip to airport is approx $40 dollars but feel it was worth staying a bit further away from airport to be in such lovely surroundings. Highly recommended.

Good: Located in an upscale shopping area with good access to a major shopping mall. Taxis available any time you need, and lots of food/entertainment options. Staff is extremely friendly and makes a point of getting to know you and greet you each time you see them. Rooms are done to a decently high standard and the kitchen is great. Morning breakfast is solid. The less good: the pool is nothing to write home about; in the afternoon it doesn't get as much direct sun, and is in a very windy...
