An ideal place to come and relax - far enough off the beaten track to be calm and secluded, but with great access to rainforest and beaches, and also a good base for exploring Corcovado. The hotel is recently built, and very modern, in an understated/classy way. Villas have a whole wall of windows and an enormous balcony, so made it easy to watch the morning routine of the toucans. Service was discrete, but attentive - Rebecca, Christina, William & Jerson all took great care of us - as well...

The staff were incredibly attentive with lots of little touches to help make your lives easier e.g. golf cart from the main entrance, leaving gift with snacks for my road trip, choice of toiletries, free umbrellas available and more.

We spent 6 nights at Makanda in the luxury villa which was a fantastic experience. The Villa was stunning and had real wow factor….we’ve stayed in many places around the world but this was definitely the best and oozes pure luxury in every detail. Staff are so friendly and helpful and are very quick to address your needs. Food was lovely and the resort as a whole is beautiful. The wild life and nature just makes it even more exotic as we saw the white face monkeys and beautiful ocean views from...

Its not as luxurious as it says . The rooms are very dark and dated , need extra touches such as slipper and dressing gowns , high quality toiletries. The bed is way to high , Im 165cm tall but still needed a step too get up. No TV in the room. It needs to upgrade with the times , i. Im sure other hotels locally are more modern and up to date. Especially as the beach is massively disappointing, its dirty with ocean rubbish not just drift wood but from boats etc . The hotel needs to offer a wow...

Fabulous hotel. Amazing views, wonderful staff, nice rooms and great food. Close enough to be able to walk to the beaches and shops but also nicely remote. Will definitely come back again.

I stayed two nights in a private room, the ladies on reception were so friendly and helpful with helping book my activities, they’ve really created a welcoming and chilled vibe. The kitchen and outdoor area is lovely. There’s everything you need both in the property and nearby. It was very chilly at night but was provided with extra blankets, the strong wind was a little noisy with plants hitting my window but I didn’t mind and always take earplugs in case of outside noise. It was super clean....

Beautiful location. Very quiet and remote. Lovely couple running the hotel with friendly staff. Had an extremely relaxing week. Beach is amazing. Seemingly endless, though not a lot of shelter and strong currents.

We booked for 1 night, then rebooked for a second. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the region. The parking lot was small but under camera surveillance so gave a feeling of security. We enjoyed the pool and the quiet time it offered after the heat of the day. It seemed as if no question or request was too trivial for the staff to deal with efficiently and cheerfully. I would be delighted to stay here again.

Amazing hotel, the place is beautiful but it’s the service that makes it one of the best hotel I have stayed at

We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Corin! The hotel itself had nice interior and was always clean, with lovely surroundings. The food was great and we really enjoyed the heated pool too. The staff really make the hotel, everyone is so friendly and always willing to help. We’d highly recommend this hotel!
