Top Center for American Archeology Visitor s Center & Museum Hotel Reviews
Super 8 by Wyndham Jacksonville
4/10 Poor
"Started out good. No smoking sign on door said 15 feet from door but people were allowed to smoke sitting on the benches next to the door. Room to dark. People sitting in cars and looked like they were smoking drugs. My room key quit working was told the battery died and they did not fix it. Was told if I left my room to block the door open. Never again will I stay at a Super 8."
"Renovations meant loud noises during the day, plus the pool was not available. Halls and elevator had lots of debris from Reno's. Biggest complaint was consistent sightings of a single ant. Get rid of it and not long before one more would show up. No obvious signs of where they were coming from.
Beds were comfortable and the water was always hot."
"Upon arrival the property side did not appear very inviting. The area seemed pretty sketchy with a bar on site and some rowdy people outside. As a female, I would not of wanted to stay by myself. However, it was after dark. First impression of the room was dark and dreary. Not updated and very old. But on the positive side, the room was very clean. The air worked great. Bathroom was very clean and the bed was very comfortable! We were also surprised to come back to the room with our bed made and clean towels! Rates were as expected. Being a small town venue, I think they do a great job!"
"The man at the front desk was nice, this was the first time I have ever seen him, but he was friendly. My husband and I work night shift so our sleep schedule is kinda messed up so we were up most of the night and it was quiet even though it was packed no one was loud. Breakfast could have been a little warmer but it was good. The only issue I had was the AC was blasting when we were trying to get our breakfast lol otherwise amazing as always"
