"The staff was great. Whenever you needed anything they were on it. The room is small so for those that enjoy tiny living...this is great. We may go for the suite next time. The grounds we kept nice and clean at all times. The staff cleans the chairs and hammocks daily for the guest to sit and enjoy. The neighbors have chickens and dogs. The sound of the coqui was awesome. We loved it. The Luquillo beach is only 10 mins from the guesthouse. There are plenty of great places to eat in the local area. Luquillo was only 30-40 mins from San Juan. It was nice to get away from the hustle of San Juan. There is also no tv in the room, so bring a tablet for your favorite shows. "

"Loved this resort!! The rooms are spacious, quiet and the grounds are stunning. A slice of paradise. The only small drawback is the distance from dining- and uber anywhere for a meal was $15-25 each way. The food there is OK, but we enjoy going off the resort to try new things. Don’t forget water shoes, bug spray and some aloe/sunscreen! "

"I fell in love with this place the second I walked through the gate. You enter a lush green garden filled with tropical trees and flowers. I was warmly welcomed by Penny, who I believe owns the property with her niece. She took the time to walk me through the island map and patiently answered all my questions. Her niece showed me to my room and even helped carry my luggage upstairs! I booked last minute and hadn’t researched much, so I was pleasantly surprised to find my room included a small kitchen and a huge terrace shared with just one other couple. The views from the terrace are incredible. And little did I know — they have horses on the property and even offer rides! A light breakfast is included, which is perfect to start the day. The bananas were from their own trees — such a special touch. The whole experience reminded me of those charming European bed-and-breakfasts where you actually get to meet the longtime owners and feel right at home. I’ve only experienced something similar once while traveling in Naples, Italy. I’m honestly sad I stayed only one night because this is one of the coziest guesthouses I’ve visited. It’s not a fancy hotel, but it’s clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Vieques. And as others mentioned — be prepared for the noisy roosters… they don’t stop, even at night 😅 Bring earplugs!"

"Clean room, kind and respectful staff, easy late check in that we were so grateful for because our flight landed a little late but the car rental process took 3 plus hours. We didn’t arrive until 4:30 am to check in. Truely grateful for the hotel staff understanding. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again. "
