"We stumbled upon this little place by chance and it didn't disappoint. Superb value hot money. We booked a suite, so had ample room for relaxing. Lovely bathroom, comfy bed and substantial breakfast for the price we paid. The restaurant in the pub was lovely the staff were so kind and friendly and the food was exceptional, we will definitely come back "

"The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was very good and worth staying in for. The hotel garden backs onto a beautiful park and is a three minute walk to cafes and shops (some of these appear to be shut on Tuesdays, but there were enough open to make a trip worthwhile). If you have accessibility issues make sure you request a downstairs room as there are no lifts. There is so much to do in the area; a long weekend is very quickly filled with museums, walks, shopping, cafes, an old abbey (two miles away) and slightly further (six miles), golf. "
