My husband and I have decided to return again for a weekend getaway. The island is hugely relaxing, and the food along the strip is freshly grilled daily. I ate grilled jerk chicken for lunch and dinner until I left; that's how good it is. The prices are higher on the island. We did our souvenir shopping in Belize City at the Golden Bay shopping center. You will need to take a ferry to reach the destination. The ferry runs from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Caye Caulker is recommended for those who want to experience the culture and ethnicity of Belize. "
