This was a great property to stay. It was very close to major streets for shopping, and also great restaurants. The staff was great, very friendly and extremely helpful. I would stay there again.
Our stay in Catania was great. The hotel manager went above and beyond helping us on multiple occasions.
The area and views from the hotel were less than scenic but a short walk away was the dining, shopping, and historic areas. It was a little unnerving to find the hotel lobby door was locked on the inside so we could not exit without the desk clerk and his key when leaving early.
Very clean and well appointed property, the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean and tidy and breakfast in the morning was very nice.

Great convenient location to train or shopping area, staff and service very helpful. Need to be vigilant though if you turn right. Breakfast service was particularly good. The bathrooms and other amenities are dated or need some maintenance.
This is my second stay at Romano House and I was very pleased to return. The staff is excellent - very helpful and friendly. Several dining options within a one block area. Best of all was the garden terrace!
It is located in the center of the old town mins from the main shopping street and attractions. The hotel is very modern and the room is small but it was very clean and comfortable. It is on a quiet street with lots restaurants nearby. The breakfast was good and the staff was helpful.
Nice hotel with amazing location and front desk st
Really nice hotel.
Pros:
Great location, good breakfast, super friendly front desk staff,
Cons:
Room need little upgrades, sofa and ottoman were dirty, bathroom floors could be cleaner, very unfriendly bartender/breakfast help guy name Marco.
An exceptional hotel in every way. Modern chic rooms in an historic building. Walkable to restaurants and historic sights. Staff went out of their way to accommodate any need or question. One of the best hotels I have stayed in for many years.
