We really enjoyed our stay with Melina in her B&B! She is very lovely, offers a nice breakfast and also the room was nice and clean. There are a lot of nice restaurants nearby and its also easy to find parking close by. We had a very nice experience :)

Entrance to the building left a lot to be desired. Scruffy, peeling paint where there was some, broken marble steps on staircase, broken handrail. Through the door into our accommodation it all changed.Nicely decorated and furnished. Into our lovely spacious room with balcony. Nicely decorated. Bathroom was very tiny. One large wardrobe with 3 hangers! No drawers. Had to search shops to purchase an adapter as UK one was not compatible. Bit stressful. Appears the property has the old socket system. Unable to connect to wifi after numerous attempts. The host confirmed the password but still no luck. The password had 30 digits, numbers and letters!! Finally, no facilities, not even a cup, one, bathroom mug. Certainly no tea/coffee making facilities. Although housekeeping advertised, that didn't happen. So all you get is a room albeit a nice room. Good location with bars and restaurants within walking distance.

One to Avoid in Catania

Dark dingy accomodation in run down area of Catania. Toilet very poor. Staircase dangerous with broken steps. Entrance door hard to find, run down and not inviting. Stayed for 5 mins then left to find somewhere better. Photos on Hotel.com website are misleading. dont think should be on Hotels.com listings. Really, really disappointing.

Wir fanden es super. In den Zimmern fühlt man sich im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes königlich. Alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Wirtin war sehr zuvorkommend. Frischer Capuccino, frisch gebackenes Gebäck, Obst, Toast... alles was das Herz begehrt zum Frühstück. Was fehlte wurde nachgeliefert. Sehr hilfsbereites Personal, hilft auch als Reiseführer. Man darf nicht vom äußeren Anschein ausgehen!!! Der Hausflur sieht wirklich runtergekommen aus. Aber die Wohnung war super. Man findet leider auch die Adresse sehr schlecht. Aber wenn man es gefunden hat, ist es super. Auf dem Platz vor der Pension kann man preiswerten Capuccino genießes. Um die Ecke gibt es Märkte wo man so gut wie alles kaufen kann, egal ob fangfrischer Fisch oder Trockenobst. Fazit: sehr empfehlenswert.
