"This hostal is in the city center, the staff was amazing, the facilities are very clean and maintained. The room had a small fridge and air conditioner and the room and bathroom were spotless! The only downside was parking, however there’s a public parking lot about a quarter a mile away. "

"Finca Viva La Vida is a little gem in the hills of Alora. The property is beautiful. The rooms are tastefully designed, excellent water pressure with very hot water (if you like) and a comfortable bed! The pool area is nice and relaxing and positioned to receive sun most of the day - a great place to relax after a hike. The breakfast courtyard might be my favorite - very serene, comfortable, beautifully decorated - a great place not only for breaktfast, but also to read a book, write, etc. The breakfast was BEAUTIFUL and so tasty! The host family is WONDERFUL!!!! Highly recommend staying here! "

"We were met by the owner but that was the only time we saw her. Although Dos Alamos is described and sign posted as Bed and breakfast the owner said they have not provided breakfast since Covid in 2019. There was no coffee, tea or water provided, The nearest shop or place to eat was 5kms away. The kitchenette sink took hours to drain. The shower was flimsy to way the least and the towels provided were wafer thin. The swimming pool water was not the blue shown inn the site photo even the owner said it was waiting its winter treatment. The green painted metal and barred door gave the place a cell block H feel. Clearly there is no checking by Hotels.com on quality or advertising accuracy. Very unhappy and would recommend anyone not to stay here. We have travelled widely and this is the worst we have ever experienced."
