Beautiful Rural Setting
The Case di Latomie is an agriturismo about 8 km from the great archeological park in Selinunte. It is beautifully situated among the olive groves and has two large pools. The rooms are individual little buildings. The restaurant on site was disappointing. I believe that they serve ostrich and called it turkey. The set price meal offers no choices and there are few other options nearby. In other words, a beautiful and convenient place to stay, but not so good for the food.

Olive farm B&B near the sea and Greek ruins
Enjoyed our relaxed stay at this family-run, comfortable inn midst olive groves. Helpful, pleasant hosts. Rooms were simple and clean; grounds were lovely. Spent 3 nights there and ate 3 dinners in-house. Enjoyed meeting chef, who does all regional cooking. Try ordering single meal for 2 for dinner; portions are large and we never needed two servings. Pool was closed in October.

Agriturismo with charm
A charming working olive oil farm with lovely gardens and a good swimming pool. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very well located for ruins at Selinunte and for beaches. Room pretty basic but adequate. Outstanding dinner with excellent local produce. Very reasonably priced. Would recommend

Quality Agri Tourism Experience
One of the better Italian Agri Tourism experiences. Resort style, great pools (two), nice hotel size rooms with space though a little damp in places. Spectacular restaurant which is first class, using local fresh produce. Good breakfast. Family run and owned. A great experience.

Good location for the Greek temples at Selinunte
We stayed just one night in order to visit the Greek temples at Selinunte and it's a very good location for that. It struck us as a well run and fairly sizeable tourism business. Plus points were the swimming pool (in a very nice setting) and the overall feel of the place, which was very peaceful being set in its own olive groves. Our room was pleasant, though being a converted farm building it had a glazed door and just a very tiny window, so it didn't have a lot of natural light. We had dinner on site in a homely restaurant setting: it was a set menu and to be fair it was pretty average - antipasti was nice, a shared pasta dish was very plain, and barbequed meats were rather dull. Our hosts were pleasant and very helpful - at the end of the day it's an OK agriturismo and cannot be expected to provide a hotel level of service.

This is a fun place -- the room is sort of basic and it is run by a family -- the highlight is the dinner which is a feast of local Sicilian food, well prepared, served family style, and a great bargain. If you don't mind the country style of the place, which we don't, it is highly recommended.

About as nice a stay as we have had since we been in Italy. The help was courteous and friendly, the room awesome...huge! The bed could be slightly more comfortable, but the rest of the room more than made up for it. If you are looking for peace and quiet on an oasis of olive groves, this is the place for you. If I ever get back to Sicily, this, hands down is where I will stay. Slight issue was their credit card machine. She said it didn't work because they were having trouble with their phone lines, so thank goodness we had cash. Dont go to Casa La Tomie without cash! Also, the internet could only be had in the main dining room. Besides those two things, our stay was unexpectedly terrific. Since this resort is on the outskirts of town, there are no local restaurants within walking distance. The town is about a 10 minute drive from the Resort and restaurants can be had there. However, the help at Casa La Tomie were glad to fix us dinner (20 Euro's each). It consisted of more courses than we could consume, so we got our money's worth and the food was good. You can buy their Organic Olive Oil there too. We did. Can't wait to get some home. Stay at Casa La Tomie.

Sehr schoene Anlage, tolles Restaurant mit vernuenftigen Preisen. Excellemtes Fruehstueck. Einzig die Treppe zum Bett hoch ist ziemlich steil und eher fuer juengere Gaeste geeignet.

Bellissima esperienza in questo giardino mediterraneo circondato da ulivi e aranci. Un luogo di pace e tranquillità nella natura a due passi da Selinunte, la storia. Peccato esservi rimasti solo due giorni,comode le stanze dislocate in diverse casette indipendenti,le piscine,tre., le zone verdi molto curate,la casetta sull'albero per i bambini. Il ristorante, dove abbiamo cenato la prima sera , con ricette locali. La gentilezza del personale . Vorrei tornarci presto,magari in autunno quando raccolgono le olive.

Demasiado costoso para lo que ofrece. Nos ha parecido un sitio muy para extranjeros. El restaurante ofrece un menu que no justifica su elevado precio. Wifi no llega a la habitacion. Desayuno pobre.

Joli domaine avec 2 piscines proche de Sélinonte
grande chambre confortable avec petite terrasse devant (mais non séparée des autres chambres), un peu sombre, climatisation un peu forte (non réglable). 2 belles piscines dans la propriété, dont une plus "intime". joli domaine calme (sauf s'il y a du bruit à la "petite" piscine, sur laquelle donnait la chambre). petit déjeuner délicieux et très copieux, mais servi à l'intérieur (salle avec une seule fenêtre). accueil aimable et souriant. possibilité d'acheter de l'huile d'olive bio du domaine (mais trouvée moins cher dans un magasin de spécialité en ville). bonne localisation à 5mn de Sélinonte (voiture indispensable) et entrée sur la route un peu "courte" lorsque l'on vient pour la 1ère fois, on peut la rater et devoir faire demi-tour.

L'hôtel est situé dans un écrin de verdure. Idéal pour se reposer. L'accueil était parfaite, l'hôtesse nous a reçu en parlant français. Vous pouvez vous garer facilement. Il est nécessaire de prévoir une voiture pour sortir. Le rapport qualité prix est vraiment bien.

L'agriturismo è bellissimo immerso nel verde e circondato da ulivi; camere ampie, comode e pulite. Buonissima la colazione con torte fatte in casa, ricotta fresca ed arance appena spremute! Personale cortese. Ottimo rapporto qualità- prezzo! Consiglio di acquistare come souvenir una confezione di olio di loro produzione!

Agritourismo extra. Chambre très spacieuse, très agréable et bien décorée. Personnel serviable parlant anglais. Très joli domaine avec des animaux. Nous avons pris le repas sur place le soir : 20€/adulte et 6€/enfant : dé-li-cieux. Tout un tas de spécialités toutes aussi bonnes les unes que les autres. Idem pour le petit déjeuner.Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter Selinunte le lendemain matin. Si on retourne en Sicile, nous nous y arrêterons certainement de nouveau.

Siamo arrivati con una pioggia battente, la stanza era confortevole e il riscaldamento funzionava molto bene. Putroppo tra il parcheggio e la camera c'era un secondo cancello e non è stato possibile portare l'auto vicino alla camera. Abbiamo quindi portato le valigie sotto la pioggia. Alla reception sono stati molto gentili e la colazione era ottima.

All in all, this agriturismo retreat is well deserving of the highest grade. Sure, I have seen better rooms, and there is not much to see around, but the service, the calm atmosphere and on top of all, the excellent food, makes it stand out. Do not miss this place if you are travelling around Sicily with car!

Vi stannade på hotellet det sista dygnet av vår 14-dagarstett dygn av vår Sicilienvistelse och det var en härlig och avkopplande ställe att samla ihop sig på före hemfärd. Trevligt område med härliga pooler och underbar Siciliansk middag på deras mysiga restaurang. Allt var över förväntan.

la chambre réservée pour 2 nuits ne correspondait pas à la résa, petite, porte de douche cassée, pommeau fuyant abondamment , rideau de discrétion dans la chambre (car porte fenêtre) hors d'état ... pratique, lampe centrale hors d'usage ... pour le deuxième jour, l'ensemble était remis en état ... nous reprenions la route !!! Seul point positif le petit dej 4 étoiles .... sur la piste d'un cirque certainement

Alors que l'endroit est clairement organisé pour recevoir les touristes l'été (piscine, parc), nous avons été parfaitement accueillis par la maîtresse des lieux en ce mois de novembre. Chambre agréable, très propre, bien chauffée. Un repas local, préparé avec attention, pour un prix très acceptable, a fini de nous convaincre. Les seuls bémols : une cabine de douche en fin de vie, et le WiFi uniquement utilisable à la réception. Nécessité d'être motorisé pour profiter de l'endroit.

Intense smell of some treatment in the room (smoke?), got gradually better after venting. Nice and helpful personell, good breakfast. No sunbeds available by the pool due to early in season despite whether ok for sunbathing. Should state at homepage if pool is only available after a certain date.
