Smelled….. odd? Bedspread had a sticky film to it, did not even cover the whole bed. Thrift store furnishings, we left and found other accommodations.

I love that this property is getting some active love! There was new paint being applied, the bed was comfortable, the room did what it needed to do and it was perfect for our quick overnighter.

The people are amazing. But the trash. Barking dogs tied up outside (and snuck inside their rooms which they aren’t suppose to allow dogs) and the remodel /. Room trash taking up 6 parking spaces. Rooms felt ok but are super old and the wet bath is interesting

It's freezing and heaters don't work. No bathtub the shower head is broken. Same with the blinds. A musty smell in room. The bedding was stained.loved the hot water temperature. Loved the view.

I don't want to rate this motel too low because I don't want it to reflect on the folks who are trying their best (maids, receptionist, etc.) because they're, well ... trying their best. But whoever is responsible for this place in terms of upkeep should be forced to walk around the property and look from the eyes of a guest. It's VERY run down on the exterior; the tiny "lobby" has a truly unpleasant smell; there's construction garbage in many areas, half-painted walls (exterior, stair well) and just general disrepair. The room itself was not bad, although it's clearly from another era. Beds were fine and bedding clean. There's both a microwave and a fridge, which I always appreciate. The man who checked us in was very helpful. Unfortunately notable was the toilet/shower cubicle, which was unpleasant. But here's the real rub: staying in this sketchy place cost $200!! This was for a Saturday night in the summer. But good lord--what a rip-off. I wish you all well but would certainly not return.

The outside is not welcoming but the room itself was updated. We liked the convenience of walking to the Cascade Locks park which was beautiful.

Great location and helpful team!
The owner at the front desk went above and beyond to help ensure my whole family got everything we needed. We had 3 rooms in total and she allowed us to receive early check in which was a game changer for our stay. Very helpful! All the staff ensured our questions were answered and that we had what we needed for our stay.

The property is walking distance to the waterfront area in Cascade locks. They have a late check out of 12pm and graciously offered an extension to1pm for free. Unfortunately it is very dated and run down. The furniture is old and so is the bedding. The quilts are stained and discolored. Even the cloth chair is stained. The room has an odor of old carpet that needs to be replaced. The combo shower/toilet bath also has an odor of mildew. There is only one lock on the door and no security bar. The walls need cleaning as well as the air conditioning unit. Don't stay here until this place is updated. Fortunately I only had to stay one night for an event.

not great .. but not the worst.
Desk said to call number for checkin .. after several attempts, each ending after 1 or 2 rings, I noticed I was getting a call from an unrecognized number .. finally called back and the person said .. you called the hotel .. I said .. yes, trying to checkin .. person said would then come to help .. room was marginally okay .. toilet seat had chipped paint on seat .. room generally clean but bedding discolored and overall apperance was "in need of repair/upgrade" .. No place to plug in coffee pot .. only one cup supplied .. 4 cup coffee pot ... but single serve packets supplied ... TV only had one channel without any ability to switch channels .. had to reboot the system to get it to work properly. Outside steps worn and very messy back area which matched the overall impression of the place ... in need of repairs and updates !!!!

Not very clean, obviously doing the bare minimum , pictures on walls were filthy. the shower and toilet are a combo, never seen this before, so just know once you take a shower the toilet will be wet. I will say the water pressure in shower was good. The sink faucet didn't work to well, we struggled with it. Work being done on top face of building started late and went till 7pm, took up a lot of parking spaces so that was very inconvenient. We won't stay here again.

The property is old, carpeting is old, bed sheets and the curtain is old. It doesn't have a bath tub so it makes the whole bathroom floor wet and inconvinient to use especially if someone uses the shower, it makes your feet wet too. Basically it is rustic looking that needs a lot of improvement. The location is near Multnomah falls and place is quiet. But the surrounding area has an old abandoned house and the back of the hotel is kinda scary. We stayed for one night just to rest and sleep for the next trip and it was okay. Staff is friendly and no hassle with check in. This hotel has a lot of potential due to good location if only the owner will remodel it.

The website said there was a restaurant and lounge on the property, so we looked forward to a nightcap in the evening and breakfast in the morning. The restaurant had white coverings over the windows and was not open for business. Please remove this amenity from the website-very misleading.

Price is way too high
I'd like to see the new owner succeed. So far, it doesn't look that way. The price is way too high. Two yesrs ago the price was 1/2. The room is small and old. The tiolet is inside the shower room. The air conditioning wouldn't produce enough cold temperature for the small room. The room smells funky. This hotel used to have a lot of customers. Now hardly any. The owner needs to pay for a good consultant if they want to survive. They won't have time to learn on the job. Good luck to them.

A lower cost option in Cascade Locks. The Wi-Fi was out during our stay, so I had to wait a long time just for someone to show up to check me in. It is a 2 person show….cleaning and checking in. No trash cans in sight. Weeds and junk everywhere. Second floor outdoor hallway half filled with lawn chairs. Homeless man lurking around the hotel on the morning of our check out. This was very unsettling. He was sitting in the stairwell smoking a cigarette while I was trying to carry my luggage down the stairs.

You need to call by phone to have somebody in the lobby. Our toilet paper was enough for one time only so we need to choose to get completely wet under the pouring rain to the lobby and wait in the middle of the night or buy our own at the market next door. The bathroom is very updated.

Room was FILTHY. Previous guest's toothpaste splatter all over the sink, wall and mirror. Coffee pot was gross, the ONLY styrofoam cup in the room to make coffee had already been used and was turned upside down for the next guest. There were dead bugs on the floor in the bathroom, I immediately went and pulled sheets back on the bed to check for bed bugs, wish I hadn't, the mattress and the edge of the mattress was disgusting. I called Best Western to see if there was a room available, I was going to ask for my money back if there was, but due to the large rabbit show in Stevenson, Washington, there was not. Towels were stained. The bedspread was dirty, the bed was uncomfortable, lumpy and hard. the door had cheap locks that did NOTHING to make me feel secure. I will never stay here again.
