"We stayed a week at a Helgafell suite in the beginning of November. The suite was in two floors with a sundeck on roof. Modern interior, 2 BR, 2 bath and one toilet. The house in located in the Allegra gated community, pools in the area (not heated). Everything worked well, friendly and helpful host. Parking in the community area and street parking available. Good internet. Grocery stores within walking distance, restaurants, pubs and other stores in the town."

La Mata is a great mellow town to make your home base with great restaurants and a couple markets right down the boardwalk. "Incorrect information shared about the deposit between booking emails and then arriving to check in. Rooms were nice and fresh but missing a lot of basics for a self catering room with cooking facilities. Beds were like wooden boards and had no comfort whatsoever. Noise between rooms was unbearable and had no sound protection, especially with an over noisy neighbour "

"It was a basic studio and was clean. Air con was good. Pool closes for 3 hours 2-5pm. Food in restaurant is very good and reasonable priced but for all the staff they have (5) service is terrible. I had to go bar and order in end as got sick of waiting even though it wasn’t busy. When we received meal i had to get up and ask for cutlery. No entertainment on night we stayed"
