"The property & room were great. Only problem is I booked through Expedia; I booked for 2 nights but could only make the 2nd night. I was fine with paying for the first night I didn't use because I was outside the cancellation window. But when I called (which took 3 tries to get past the unhelpful IVR systems... really, the automated system sucks) to tell them I wouldn't be there to check in the first night but to keep my reservation for the 2nd, they said, "Well, what's your Santa Ana itinerary number?" Well, I didn't get a Santa Ana #, just an Expedia #. They said I'd lose my 2nd night because I'd be considered a no-call/no-show. I'm like, "But I'm calling you now!" Nope, said to call Expedia. Well, Expedia was useless. So, I ended up driving 11 miles to check in for a room I didn't even need for the night just so I wouldn't lose - and pay! - for the 2nd night. Santa Ana must get tons of 3rd-party reservations, they should really try to coordinate better. That said, the room & property were great."

"Beautiful place. They did keep messing up as they couldn't access the Hotels.com payment, so we had to pay a second time. We spoke to both folks at hotels.com and the hotel's manage, and we're hoping to get one of those payments back."

"Room was worn down and furniture was stained. Carpet was lifting in certain areas and smelled of mildew. Guests were very loud coming in at 2am and yelling through the halls. No one was present at the front desk to assist with complaints. The staff, on the other hand, was very nice upon arrival and the lobby made the property appear very cute and inviting. "

"Our stay went pretty well. We requested to be moved to a different room due to the smell of the other room. The clerk was very kind in acknowledging our request. "

"Breakfast menu was adequate, fresh and well maintained. The woman in charge of breakfast was friendly. The woman who was at the desk when we arrived was nice. The man who checked us in was okay until we had a problem with the tv. I called and advised of the issue. He said be right down. After 45 minutes we went out for dinner, advised him the tv would not turn on. Came back to the tv on and a remote battery area broken. All in all it was adequate, would probably stay again for the price. "
