Extremely noisy, between the freeway noise and the people upstairs, it was terrible. Also the light outside of my front door shined in and window shades didn’t cover it. Will not stay here ever again.

Nice property with easy access from the freeway. Clean updated rooms and a reasonable rate. The free breakfast offered is more of a coffee and to go pastry offering. Not bad by any means, but a step below Hampton Inn or similar chains that offer a larger breakfast. I would stay here again any time I am in Carlsbad for a short trip.

Front office staff excellent. Maid service excellent. Room absolutely clean.
Very limited area for continental breakfast. No fruit. No coffee service in room nor coffee downstairs. No hot meal.

Got a good price for the 4 nights, definitely enjoyed the stay. The only issue really was the freeway, you hear it all day and night

Clean safe good neighborhood. Close to wonderful little cafe, grocery store and coffee.
Drawback is that motel close to 5 fwy so a little loud outside.

Disappointed that I tell the kids about the heated pool. It was not heated 😡. I even called and specifically asked about the pool.
You can not count coffee and a prepackaged sweet roll as a breakfast.

I went on a family trip to legoland and I was supposed to stay here. I booked online with my debit card and selected the pay at property option. Check in was at 4pm the hotel started calling me a little after 4pm to give them my credit card number so they can process my payment before I even got there. If I didn’t provide them with that information over the phone then the 2 rooms I had booked would get cancelled. They were really insistent with me providing them this information before I even made it in and since I didn’t they threatened to cancel both of my booking by 6pm. Legoland didn’t close till 7pm and I was definitely not gonna provide this information over the phone for past fraud experiences and I was also not going to leave legoland to go pay and come back. So I just let them cancel the bookings

Do apologize for the inconvenience but hotel policy is the pre authorize credit cards before check in to guarantee reservation. We give curtesy call so we don't cancel reservation.
Nice property, close to beach. I like that there was no fee parking and plenty of spaces. Staff was exceptional. Rooms were great and spacious, would say bathrooms and TV need more of a upgrade. Awesome the amenities like small fridge and microwave are available.

Beds were super itchy to sleep both for my son and myself. Manager changed our rooms but that did not help. We were not able to sleep as the other beds were also super itchy to sleep and we could not sleep thru the night. Very very noisy as hotel is next to Freeway. Will NEVER stay here or recommend anyone to stay. The worst. I demand a full refund.

La energía del lugar en donde está ubicado el hotel no es muy buena, la zona no se siente bien, cómo está al lado del freeway es ruidoso. Las camas son cómodas, no hay cajones en donde guardar la ropa y el baño no cuenta con un espacio o gancho para colgar la ropa o la bata o lo que se necesite, son ciertos detalles que harían la estancia más cómoda.

Complimentary breakfast was coffee, pastry and water in front lobby. Also I was unexpectedly charged a $100 security fee which I was not expecting- it was returned at end of my stay - I was told it would appear in my bank 3-4 days later. I haven’t seen it yet.

I do apology our web site does state the we offer a grab and go breakfast. Like every hotel we do take a deposit for the room but it does reverse back if there is not damages to the room. Deposit does take a few business days for return depending on your bank.
You get what you pay for. They didn’t accommodate any of the requests. So no sleep. All four walls and ceiling are paper thin so the elephants above doing gymnastics all night didn’t help with trying to rest. Neither fighting of bugs. Wouldn’t recommend

Very good hotel and close to the freeway, every easy access. The only thing I didn't like is that too much light comes in around the curtains after you turn off the lights, a lot of light!
