"The staff were outstanding. They were helpful and accommodating that we didn’t speak French. The food was excellent and decently priced. There needs to be some maintenance and upkeep. Some was done and some was not. They need new mattresses. Some of the thinner ones had mold on the bottom. Probably not uncommon on the water. They were decently comfortable but aging. What isn’t listed in hotels.com was we had to make and strip all of Our beds. They gave us a laundry bag to put all sheets and towels in. Then we had to carry those to the laundry area and take our trash to the dumpsters. There was an offer for you to pay for the cleaning. None of this was aa difficult it just was not listed in the initial reservations. The location is unbeatable."

"The room in the main house was very nice and well put together. The bed was very comfortable and had excellent bedding. The only drawback to the room is it being an old house you can hear anything and everything of the other travelers, but I always bring a noise maker to sleep better. The property was a beautiful piece of French history and a working organic farm!! We ate at the restaurant twice each for breakfast and dinner. The steak was sourced on the farm and nothing short of phenomenal. It was a beautiful restaurant with nice people and very cozy. I would definitely stay here again."
