I was thrilled to have a walk in shower. Our main concerns were the mattress could be softer, the toilet should be taller + the level of noise with a toilet flush does not allow people to sleep through it - it is way too loud. We did feel the condition went downhill a bit from the previous year. Otherwise it met our needs. The staff was great this year!

The first room we had the bathroom had not been cleaned was dirty with hair in the tub and on the vanity counter I could tell this hotel was no longer owned by a local couple since my last stay It was a Holiday Inn Suites and Conference center now just a Holiday Inn Express I was also given wrong quote originally on their military, senior and bereavement rate when I initially inquired. The breakfast buffet was decent and most of the staff seemed cordial May or may not stay there again when in Southern Illinois
