Giacomo in particular was a superstar, passionately speaking about the wines of the winery and the region, giving us great restaurant recommendations and really going above and beyond with a smile. He tried, via google translate to tell us he would clean the rooms.. but in the end we had to ask for it… that ment ‘making our beds’ but not cleaning the floor or taking out the trash or restocking toiletpaper, etc. Also the shower cabin was so small, thet it would only fit a child. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of options. We also ate an evening meal there and it was delicious. Centrally located for for exploration of the etna region. Room was very clean. "The stay had much to be desired. Check in was at 2. When we arrived at 2 we were told it would be about another hour as they were not ready. It was about 35 to 40 mins and the room was ready. When we got to our room we were told that the TV and the fridge dont work. Unfortunately I had to be a bit of a complainer. The young lady at reception called the owner and the next day they gave us a better room with everything working. She even moved our bags she was very nice. We asked for two extra...
