"A very comfortable well appointed lodge with excellent service focused staff. All rooms perched on the river bank with large viewing deck areas, the room also large, immaculately clean, a/c, inside or exterior shower, full bath with view.
The food was also very good. Included 5 course served fixed menu dinner each evening, wine very reasona-ble from £12 a bottle. Lovely small pool area for a welcome cooling break. WiFi at the lodge main areas only not in room.

"Were travelling for 4 weeks and consider this lodge to have been the worst value for money. If it had not been for the very friendly manageress Erika, and some very nice fellow guests,we would have felt somewhat fleeced. There was no wildlife around the lodge, i.e. sitting on the terrace offered no viewings, even very little birdlife. Food was at best 3 star and not overly generous. Took 5 hour combo drive and had to pay for all the extras, including water. Not good value for money."
"Amazing river trip to get to the lovely lodges. Great pool with comfy loungers. Stunning design and view in the room. Only drawback was how long it took to checkout as the bill wasn’t right. "
"We had everything we needed, beautiful setting and area around the tent & around the lodge. We opted in for the dinner in the lodge, it was pricy, but had good choice and we even had a separate main course made for us as we are vegetarians. The manager was very friendly and had some nice short exchanges with him."
"Staff and facility is great. Highly recommend taking an afternoon safari cruise; amazing viewing of many animals as they make their way to the water. "

"A beautiful little campsite with three sites. The two owners grew up here and have created a gem. Everything was built with so much love. Ruben, who welcomed me, was very kind and helpful. The Kwando Core Area Park is just a few minutes away by car. Definitely worth to support these local guys "

"Wir hatten uns auf diese Unterkunft wegen der guten Bewertungen und der Hippos und Krokodile gefreut. Ich weiß tatsächlich nicht, woher diese guten Bewertungen kommen, wir haben keine guten Erfahrungen. Das Flußufer ist nicht zu erreichen, somit wären Hippos etc allenfalls von oben zu sehen. Allerdings waren keine Tiere da, laut Mitarbeiterin sind die längst weitergezogen. Wir hatten ein kleines Häuschen, das sehr dunkel war und zudem der Geruch darin kaum auszuhalten. Wir hatten am Abend dort...
