"Like-Location, pool and location and front staff. Dislikes, for a $1000. a night charge no closet was provided. The shower was a slip hazard, we had to lay towels down to prevent slipping. Not allowed to order drinks at the bar, when there was no activity."

"Excellent pool area beautiful view and a great walk into town - not that far but a steep hike walking back which we enjoyed - you could opt for the bus which is free if you stay more than 2 nights but we didnโt need it and walked in and out of town twice per day. It was a lovely room, view, pool, breakfast with great parking - very lovely and we would stay again!"

"I canโt say enough about the concierge team! They were able to arrange transfers, boat excursion, taxiโฆanything we needed with just an email. It was all arranged prior to arrival and was perfect. The afternoon terrace lunches were delicious, especially the gin and tonic experience. And the housekeeping staff exceptional. We had a beautiful room, and I would 100% stay here again if we return to Lake Como"

"I donโt normally leave such detailed reviews, but in this case, itโs definitely warranted. Where do I even begin? The Mandarin Oriental, Lake Como was absolutely incredible and, without question, one of the highlights of our entire trip to Italy! We were travelling through Italy and booked only two nights at the Mandarin, but if we were planning the trip again, we would definitely stay at least one night longer. The hotel lived up to its name, which is synonymous with exceptional service, attention to detail, and over the top luxury. As breathtaking as the property is, though, what stood out most was the service and the way the staff made us feel throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, everyone was warm, welcoming, and attentive. Even more impressive, the staff members we met during check-in made a point of greeting us personally whenever they saw us again. Those small touches made a lasting impression and are exactly what separates great service from truly exceptional hospitality. Everything about our stay, from our room and the food to the floating pool and the spa, felt special. We were genuinely sad when it was time to leave and wished we had booked that extra night. The Mandarin delivered exactly the experience we had hoped for and somehow exceeded it. If youโre considering staying here, do it! Itโs definitely a splurge, but for us, it was worth every penny. Next time weโre in Lake Como, weโll absolutely be back, and staying longer! 5+++ stars!"
