"The only reason I gave it a 4 is for necessary updates to the rooms. There is no outlet next to the bed you have to reach back behind the bed frame and unplug either the clock or the lamp to plug in your phone charger. Which is inconvenient because the other plug is feet away from the bed. The front door to my room needs winterization. I could feel cool air coming under the door and had to block it with my luggage and shoes. The air conditioner/heater worked well and I could set the temp but it was permanently set to 'auto'. Hearing the heater turn on and off all night was extremely disruptive to my sleep. Although the bed and pillows were clean and comfortable I did not sleep well either night unfortunately due to this. The bathroom is extremely outdated (tub liner had been re-caulked about a dozen times, couldn't change the water spray volume from intense rapid waterfall to something with less pressure, etc). But the room was very clean. I could actually walk around bare foot and not have dirty feet like other hotels. I can't emphasize enough how friendly the staff was!! The complimentary breakfast was nothing to shake a stick at but for free, I'll take it. Coffee was good which is sort of most important - ha!"
