Deanna was a great communicator, everything was clean and in order and so many sweet details throughout the property.
Not a hotel, but a wonderful house with apartments.
Very clean, full of details, just like coming to your aunt's house. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The house in just two blocks from the main shops and restaurants. We had a great time. Definitely recommend!!!!

Starting with the good, good location, kitchen with many pots/pans, parking in the backyard. Lots of hot water. Good shower. W/D
Now for the bad, 2nd bedroom if barely a foot around larger than the uncomfortable bed. Bed too hard. Flat pillows. Not a good night sleep. Not a real bedroom, but a room enclosed by 2 glass paneled French doors, with broken blinds (as viewable in the property webpage) Also, front porch light comes in through the sheer curtains and blinds. If there was an A/C during the summer, it would be in your head or at most about 2 feet from your own feet. Cannot open the dresser from in from because the drawers hit the bed.
The bathroom, no wider than the toilet until you walk into the shower, would be difficult for turn around. Narrow sink. No real counter at the sink, which is very high. Importantly, poor cleaning job. The outside of the shower was dirty, no one wiped it in a while. The couch was good but the side chairs were uncomfortable. Also, there should be a little table next to those chair to rest a drink or snack.
The quirky, the light switch in the kitchen is about 4.5 feet off the ground, kid safe!. The apt is a combo of both interior and converted exterior porch that was probably enclosed at some point. The main bedroom had a high ceiling and level floors. The LR/DR area were on a slant, probably to help with drainage in an earlier life. Also low ceilings in that section.
In summary, not the worst place but would probably not stay there again

Excellent experience
It was a very pleasant experience. Deanna is very nice and introduced us to all important items in the apartment. There was everything one could need in it. Studied in every detail. We really liked staying there instead of staying in an Hotel. Highly recommended.

The suite was very private and close to everywhere. Perfect for a family wanting to prepare their own meals, the kitchen was well equipped.
The 10.00am check out time was brutal, wish it was at least noon time.

Pleasant, Quaint, Warm
My wife and I took a four day trip to Cape May to celebrate our anniversary. I needed to get away from the craziness of my business life and just life in general. And, as a couple, we needed some time to reconnect.
Antoinette's was plain old perfect. We had a second floor apartment in an old Victorian home. It was everything we needed it to be. It was close enough to walk to anything of interest. It is on the border of the metered parking and the free parking areas of the town.
Deanna, the owner, is a great gal and very friendly. Our only complaint was that, in our 60s, climbing those Victorian steps was a bit more challenging than we had anticipated.
Antoinette's is located away from the crowded areas. You can walk to those areas and return back to this private hideaway once you've had your fill of the hordes of humanity. (And I get filled up pretty damn quick!)
Personally, both of us have come to the conclusion that
Cape May is not our thing. Both my wife and I had to say that we just don't see what all the diehard Cape May fans are raving about. But, that has nothing to do with Antoinette's.
If you're headed to Cape May, you really should give her place a try. I've traveled worldwide for business and pleasure. Antoinette's is an experience you need to add to your memories.

Affordable getaway in a great town.
As expected—it’s clean and as advertised. And there are things provided, such as beach chairs, bikes, and grills, that make the trip easier

Excellent location, quiet but close to pedestrian street, shops, super market, restaurants and the beach. Perhaps a bit busy to get started with the bikes. Parking is on the street. Fully equipped with everything you need in a home.
I stayed in the Filomena unit in June. It is located on the first floor in a historic home on a lovely, quiet street. Deanna, the inn hostess, was extremely warm and helpful. She was welcoming to my two young grandchildren and helped them feel right at home. Since it is an historic inn, one can expect beautiful woodwork and interior doors, window trim and furnishings. You can also expect creaky floors and such, but that is part of the charm that I love! The inn is close to many shops and restaurants, as well as the beach. Many bikes are provided. Grills are also available. I truly enjoyed our visit and only wish we could have stayed longer.

Nice location
Great location and place was clean but inn keeper is not flexible. She requests up to minute updates on your arrival and lets you know how her plans were disturbed by your check in. During the off season we asked for a one hour grace period on check out (no one coming next day) but answer was no because she had a party to go to and had to clean - maybe that’s a good reason to hire people to help?
Within walking distance of walking Mall, mansion, trolley tours, beach.. property actually mentioned by trolley tour guide.
Nice to have a whole suite, living room/kitchen, separate bedroom and our own bath.
It was nice to be able to borrow beach chairs for when we drove to Sunset Beach.
Walking distance to beach, restaurants, shopping (including grocery store). The house is far away enough from center if you are looking for relaxation. The owner had a story about her journey through life, which was a page turner.

There was none when I arrived this inn. So I had to wait for 10 min.
We’re staying in the Lucia apartment (second floor). It is pretty big and comfortable. The room is decorated in antique style; not everyone will like it but I'm thrilled. Location is great, close to everything: grocery store, downtown, beach, boardwalk. Host Deanna is nice and hospitable.
First time staying at the Antoinette. The host was very attentive and genuinely friendly. The suite was great, roomy and comfortable. Would go back anytime...
