"The Ceilidh Lodge was just what we needed for our 2 day getaway to see the Autumn colours on the Cabot Trail Conveniently located close to dining and shops in Baddeck- owners very welcoming and accommodating as we had a small dog. "We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during our visit. The hotel was very busy the first night due to a tournament and there were a lot of kids. Much like any other larger hotel you need to get down to breakfast earlier as it does get very busy later in the morning and it is hard to find a seat. The coffee was very good, and the continental breakfast was as you would expect when offered for free. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed the restaurant on site. The food was very good and the staff were amazing as they were very busy both nights we were there. We enjoyed not having to leave the hotel for a good dinner. "
