Stay away from this declining “hotel”
I’ve spent thousands of dollars at this hotel staying several times for business or personal travel and I will never stay again. First room smelled so much of smoke I walked out and changed to another. The sink was clogged and wouldn’t drain water. Shower light was broken and didn’t turn on. Coffee machine in the room but no coffee capsules or tea like I had here last time I stayed. And the best? Someone else’s used bandaid found inside the bed. I didn’t even pack bandaids with me so 100% not mine. This place is actually disgusting now! There are many lovely and also affordable hotels in Zürich I’ll stay next time.

The check in was too complex and difficult and there was no one around to help. The place feels cold and unfriendly. Also my room on the second floor had only a small window - the room felt claustrophobic. There was no shower cap. The body wash and shampoo were the same. Just felt cheap. Also, I was stuck in the elevator for 15 minutes. The doors only opened because someone on the floor pushed the button. We had no maid service for three days. Evidently you needed to text or something for that to happen. Also the location was very difficult to get a cab and no front desk to order one. I will never stay here again.

Close to the city, great shopping within vicinity.
How to rate a hotel in Covid times. The rooms are large, especially for the price. However, on site parking is expensive. Staff are friendly be it at the reception on in the greatly reduced dining area. Omelette was fantastic and the bread choice was impressive. The hotel, although not directly in the city, has many transport possibilities. Tram, bus or a direct train into the main station. It is also in the middle of a large shopping centre making it even more convenient for travelers not to venture into the busy city centre. Leaving the hotel by car there are a number of motorways only minutes away. The only disadvantage, there are no real views from the small windows.
