Check in was very quick, we were shown our room which is found in a beautiful house, where everything is new and very clean! We were given our room keys and keys to the gate. "This is a real medieval castle! You travel in time when staying at Giomici. The hosts are a wonderful team, excellent communication and service. The room was comfortable and super-clean. We stayed once for the supper, it was tasty and reasonably priced. The breakfast was plenty and fresh. The locally produced coffee was a nice surprise."

"I wish I could have stayed longer. The place is beautiful, clean, and smells wonderful. It’s only an 8-minute walk from Assisi train station. The location is excellent—we walked just 5 minutes to the Basilica of Santa Maria. For halal food, Alo Ali Kebab shop is right across the road, and for non-Muslims there are plenty of highly rated restaurants nearby. The housekeeper, Joy, was amazing—we already miss her!
