"I proprietari supergentili e premurosi. Il posto è un buon punto d'appoggio in zona. Ci ho soggiornato per un evento di lavoro, penso ci tornerò all'occorrenza e chissà, magari anche con la famiglia per un weekend da quelle parti. "Amazing stay at this Masseria which exceeded all expectations. From the beautiful interiors and location, to the delicious breakfast and dinner cooked by the hosts, our stay was fantastic. Nick and Anja are incredible hosts and the Masseria is even more beautiful in real life. We loved waking up among the beautiful tree groves and enjoying the days by the pool. "the apartment was very clean, spacious, modern and comfortable. A kitchenette forms part of the apartment. Massimo the owner, was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is only a few minutes walk from the historical centre. The only downside that we were at the second floor and there is no lift. A big plus Massimo's father runs the shop next door to the apartments and he is there from very early in the morning till late in the evening. "
"All staff were very, very good Stephania was very attentive and great fun. The place was very clean and well appointed with excellent breakfast and lunch. An excellent and perfect for a quiet break.
It would be really great if an evening meal could be provided. Currently one has to go Squinzano and restaurants open after 8. "

The location of the accomodation is great, with a supermarket next door for convenience to get every day items. There is free secure parking on site, so if you have a car, getting in and out of Lecce and other neighbouring towns is easy.
Note: the accomodation is 5 minutes or so drive away from the town of Lecce, accomodation is located in Surbo. Im not too sure how to get there by bus.
I highly recommend Lavilla Suite & Relax, with 5 stars for everything.

"We had the most delightful stay at Dimora Donna Rita. The room was spacious and comfortable, the amenities were great, and the setting + views were immaculate. Paolo and Loridana were the loveliest hosts and you can really feel the love and personal touches they put into this place. Breakfast was included and delicious, setting the tone for a perfect day exploring Lecce and the surrounding areas. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Puglia!"
"Our room was very clean and unique. The air conditioning was excellent. Gianluca, our host /owner was very informative and attentive to our needs. He recommended excellent nearby restaurants and he made reservations for our first evening having just arrived. His sisters made us a delicious and sustainable breakfast every morning with fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, a selection of pastries and breads, eggs and a selection of meats and cheeses and cappuccinos . It was an enjoyable, restful stay. I should mention it was a 5 minute walk to the entrance of the old town where the sites, shopping and other eateries are located. Very safe area!!!!"

"Not what I was expected. I know we came during off season but in May. The winery seem to be well known in the area but it wasn't open. They don't really have staff in attendance, but you can always reach them by email or phone if you have local cell phone. They use an app to access the gate into the venue unfortunately that our connection wasn't always the greatest and we needed to ask our friend to open the gate for us. We only saw one or two other guests in the hotel so it is really too quiet without staff around. "

This is not a Grand hotel in the sense of the Danieli or Excelsior, however, that is probably because they choose not to have a restaurant, even though they put out a sumptuous breakfast and have a commercial kitchen and plenty of staff. Our room had filthy old green carpeting, but we noticed in the long hallway that some rooms have modern wood flooring, which is much more sanitary I don't know why we weren't given the upgrade since we are hotel gold members. The only other issue was the parking which we tried to reserve well in advance, but was unavailable, which was disappointing since we have a brand new Mercedes-Benz . The staff was very pleasant and the bathroom was spacious and had the best shower of our trip. Overall, it was good value for the money and it's probably one of the better hotels in Lecce."
