Hi This place is great lots of birds at tree level and the his and hers showers are a nice touch. It's quite a walk up to some of the rooms so bear that in mind. Aguila del Osa is a dream hotel with wonderful views from the bedroom and main lobby/restaurant. The hotel gardens are beautiful and we saw many birds including hummimg birds right outside our room. There is a nice walk around the hotel and you can also take a trail into the rainforest and the nearby Cocalito Beach, All the staff speak excellent english and are very friendly and provide excellent service. Could see the ocean but room got very hot due to the big window to see the sea and beach and no Aircon to cool just a fan.

We had a great stay at Hotel Margarita. The staff were so helpful and nice. For example, they gave advice on how to get there as we weren't sure whether to drive or boat, then booked the boat for us and transported our luggage and us from the beach. The rooms spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The pool is nice to cool off in. We stayed 4 nights with our 2 teenagers and we all really liked it. Nice relaxed vibe.

Hotel Villa Drake is a lovely small family run hotel at the top of the small town. The family are very friendly and happy to help, they cooked us a fresh breakfast every morning, even when we needed it at 5:20am. They arranged tours for us and the father is also a taxi driver so took us to the airport at the end of our trip for a reasonable price. Norlyn and Gabriella were great hosts, very friendly and helpful in organising a range of tours/activities and onward travel. The Cabinas are located within easy access of the centre of the village and the beach. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and guests had the use of a kitchen with cooking facilities and fridge which was a great bonus.

Excellent comminications leading up to our stay and welcome was just as good. Lovely room with balcony area with seating nice touch Huge bathroom and shower to boot! Perfectly located to walk to the seafront for excursions and close to all the main restaurants. Breakfast ordered the day before with time slot - great start to your day!

Absolutely stunning location in a cabin overlooking the sea. We saw endless amounts of red macaws and other wildlife during our stay. The staff were professional, friendly but not obtrusive. This is a small family- run establishment where we felt customer satisfaction was important. The restaurant meals were excellent and innovative, the smallness of the restaurant resulted in it often feeling more like a private dining experience. Good food and service . The beach is sadly no good too rocky and sea dirty.

We had a great 6 nights at Casa Gitana, we had a lovely room with a shady private patio, our room was cleaned everyday and the staff were great. Breakfast was included and there is a restaurant for lunch and dinner. It's a short walk to the beach and many tours can be organised at the hotel. Thanks.
