"Great location, locally owned and very good service. No hot water"

"We love love LOVED our stay here!!! Just thinking about our time here makes me want to be back in Costa Rica!! I thought it might not be our kind of place - and I also didn't realise the Corcovado day trip boats could pick you up from there - but I chose to spend a couple of nights there so that we'd be half-way along the Drake Bay Trail. "It was a beautiful place to stay right on the beach with the sound of the waves crashing and the birds chirping. Very close to restaurants and all of the tours and the host was awesome and very accommodating! Highly recommend!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here! We were up in one of the rooms on the hill which had amazing views of the bay as well as great opportunities for birdwatching. The room itself was super clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great proximity to the nature trail as well! We would stay again for sure."

"Everything about our stay was great and staff recommended some great tours. "

"The stay here was amazing, clean rooms, great views, staff was fantastic, food was good, it was a great place to be busy if you want and to relax as well. "

"Really great staff who really know the area and cultivate the farm. They can give you information on ecology you won't find outside of guided tour groups in the park, and there's also yoga. The property is beautiful and it is easy to see birds. It is a pretty primitive property and so you should be expecting bug bites and no modern comforts. Bathing in rainwater is amazing, but it is also not warm. Also the ants really bite- I was itchy for a week afterward. So be careful. "

"Everything about Drake Bay Getaway was excellent. The view from the room was stunning. The room itself was perfect with a balcony to sit and enjoy the view. The restaurants food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were extremely helpful and nice. I would stay here again and again. I liked it so much I extended my stay."
