"Nice and clean place, close to city center. Real value for money. It was our first visit to jasper after the devastating fire. It was really sad to see the destruction of nature. The hotel staff were excellent."

"The Otter hotel is an absolute gem of a hotel. Our room was beautifully kept during our 5 day stay. The hot tubs were absolutely fabulous and a great way to start/end the day. The restaurant had great food, drinks and a fantastic atmosphere. The free bus pass that the hotel issues is a great perk. We used it frequently as it’s an easy, quick way to get into town and back. However it’s the staff that really made our stay special. From front desk check-in, wait staff, bartenders and housekeeping everyone was friendly, helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend this hotel and we can’t wait to go back!"

"This is the first time I've been back since the major renovation and the hotel coming into the Basecamp family. I was a little put off about on registration before arriving, but using a code inside of key was easy. I was comforted to discover that there are staff on duty at all times. The basics that I enjoyed a half dozen times or more through 12 years or so, are there. It's convenient. It has great rates. Spacious rooms. A big soaker tub. A fireplace. And rooms with fridges and microwaves. The bathroom remodel means no shelves, but there are hangers for towels you use. Minor inconvenience. Will go back as I have ever since staying there for the Alberta Winter Games."
