Lovely property off the beaten track. Very quiet and lovely log fire as you enter the reception area.room was a little disappointing. Very clean and great shower but very small. No coffee facilities in room which is always nice after long trip. Staff were great however and offered coffee and a beer in front of fire
The location was lovely & the Hotel staff were lovely. We were keen to stay, as the restaurant had a good reputation and it was the last night of our holiday. Unfortunately, due to holidays, or similar, they were running a basic fixed menu for 38E each which to say the least was strange.
Un court séjour de repos en Normandie, hôtel très agréable en pleine nature avec un accueil chaleureux et pas "guindé" pour un 4 étoiles... Bon restaurant également. Bref que du positif !
A little disappointing for the price.....
An anniversary occasion spoilt by overheated rooms and less than comfortable beds.
Staff and proprietors very friendly...food good......just don't expect perfection.
Breakfast advice.....get up early, because there are no refills when the food goes.
The hotel is in a pleasant rural setting and our room was clean and comfortable. However, the pool was not very clean and there was no lighting between the car park and the hotel. We would have liked to have eaten in but, with the menus starting at 46€ we decided to go back to
Pont Audmer instead. We opted out of breakfast.
The original timber framed hotel and exterior have a lot of charm and its country location amongst trees and shrubs is very nice. The hotel conversion (room accomodation) looks like any other modern hotel and was not in keeping with the original style and is disappointing. We stayed in 7 hotels during our trip, this was the most expensive but was my 5th favourite overall. However, I would happily return again. Staff were very good and dinner and breakfast excellent.
Très bonne impression générale. Le jardin est un écrin de verdure et l'hotel-restaurant une chaumière typiquement normande et chaleureuse. Chambre petite mais très confortable et très agréablement décorée. Petit-déjeuner copieux et délicieux.
