"Front desk, manager, cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful. Driftwood Kitchen restaurants next to the hotel 5 Star. Food was very good and staff very friendly. I would definitely go back there to eat. The hotel is very old and there are parts of the walls that appears to crumbling. There was some stairs that was closed off due to crumbling. The lobby was very nice. Owner needs to invest into the hotel. Needs a lot of upgrades. Probably will not stay here again."

Pala Casino Spa And Resort

"Employees were very friendly and helpful. I left my cell phone in our room and housekeeping placed it where I could find it! Thank you! The lighting in the room was very dim. Maybe change bulbs to LED to brighten up and keep the bathroom cooler. Outlets on the wall next to the bed were not working."

"The Hotel is charming within the room. It made me feel beautiful. The only thing it lacks are microwaves in bedroom is it down fall. Its in a very great location. And in my opinion the best in the area. Lake Forest. Laguna Hills."

"A little disappointed, the ice maker was inoperative, the refrigerator was very noisy and the bath tub did not have a bath mat in the tub. The tub was very slippery, we had to make sure we held on to faucet or wall for fear of falling."

"For the price, this place is excellent!!! The only downside, the water pressure in the shower is meh. Room is spacious, air conditioner works great. We will definitely stay again! Thank you!"

Laguna Hills Lodge

"We enjoyed our stay at The Laguna Hills Lodge. The family room includes comfortable chairs and coffee table that was the gathering spot for my family, and it did not feel like it’s just a hotel room. The bathtub in the bathroom had shower-head. The beds were comfortable, and our room included foldable couch. My favourite sport at Laguna Hills was the garden where we made quiet a few family pictures during our stay."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Carlsbad - Legoland Area

"We stayed a week and the staff was so helpful the breakfast was great. They had beach chairs and umbrellas for us every day. We will be staying here again"

Lakehouse Resort

4/10 Poor

"Carpets were dirty and stained, walls had scuffs on them and furniture was damaged. A/C barely worked and when I asked for someone to check it I was told this was energy saving option. Reservation was for four people, yet there were only three towels in the bathroom and two bottles of water. Lights were so dimmed you could barely see at night and some of them didn't work. Upon check-in I was invited to sign a document declining housekeeping services since we stayed three nights. Not a four star experience for sure."

Omni La Costa Resort & Spa Carlsbad

"I was expecting something special when I booked this stay. It was OK… Certainly not special. The room was OK, not as nice as the price point would suggest as the suite’s furniture was shabby and worn. I have had better bedding at roadside motels at less than 1/5 the cost than the bedding here. It felt like sleeping on a piece of plastic and smelled like cheap deodorant. The spa was great, food was good, and staff was great. Early morning walks allowed for some great birding! Our “villa” had a washer and dryer! Our villa also felt like we were trapped in a cave, complete with the smell of mild mold. Additionally, I expected to see original art, not stuff hanging off walls that looked like it was purchased at a discount used furniture store. The carpet, especially the outdoor carpet, needs replaced. There are much better values out there, not sure I want to return."
