This is a 3 to 3½-star hotel, not a 4-star by any stretch. The rooms are a mishmash—some are clean and well-maintained, while others are rundown, particularly noticeable in the bathrooms, furniture, and carpets.
There is no room service, bar, or other amenities typically found in a four-star hotel.
The staff are not particularly customer-oriented, especially when comparing the service and overall experience to well-known four-star hotels like the Hilton Barcelona or Renaissance Barcelona.
However, it is a fair hotel for what you are paying. Clearly needs capital investment to bring it to a proper four star level.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lamaro. The team were so friendly and helpful. We loved the rooftop bar for the great cathedral views. We also opted for breakfast at the hotel which was excellent. Hope to stay again in the future and will recommend.

I would like to share my concern regarding an incident that occurred during my recent stay. While most of the staff were courteous and helpful, I unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience with one staff member named John.
John spoke to me in a rude and dismissive manner, which was unexpected and disappointing. More seriously, he made comments about my race that were discriminatory and biased. This made me feel unwelcome and disrespected during my stay.
I believe every guest deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of background. I hope the management will look into this matter seriously to ensure that no other guest has a similar experience.
Thank you for your attention to this important issue.

The hotel was excellent, along with the staff. Once you get out of the immediate area, it was fantastic, close to everything! Just stay away from walking thru the back alleys at and use main roads, it will be fine.
