"I book this hotel because it has 2 bedrooms and I have a very light sleep so I did not want to sleep with my boyfriend - do not judge! The rooms are not double glazed and therefore you can hear everything from the main road. I could not sleep well. There was also some machinery behind the wall on the 2nd bedroom, again very noisy and it can start anytime (I had it starting at 3am and it is a loud noise = I guess it is related to the water pressure?). "Lovely place, awesome attentive staff and 3 meals per day are freshly prepared buffet style. The grounds are meticulous with many walkways through the foliage and its many wild birds on the way to the beach. The beach is tended by the local fishermen and there are guard stands all along the length of the beach cycle path. I felt very safe and it was a calm and peaceful experience. I highly recommend this for nomads, couples and families. The property itself is spacious, wide tiled corridors, large rooms with a veranda balcony and hammock. The hammock relieved all my tech and luggage pulling aches. I came for carnival but stayed for the peace. I didn’t even leave the premises because it was what I needed most: a serene and necessary recharge."

Breakfast was also not like in the Instagram page. I felt that portions got better once I have made a complaint, but we were given 1 scramble egg - to share between 2 of us on the first day. They offered other items, but not as much as they picture in their insta page. To improve this, they could create a check list and ask guests what they wanted the previous day. People in the reception were friendly and nice - 5*, all the staff were polite, but the physical structure of the hotel was not up to my standards: the pool for example is most of the time on the shade - that cannot be change or moved. Their jacuzzi was out of order and maintenance team could not fix it during the 7 days we stayed there. I was not offered any compensation and I felt that I paid for a service that they could not provide. Also the bedroom did not have an iron and the hotel does not have 1 for each apartment, so sometimes I had to bring the one I requested downstairs to share with another room that has requested. I felt a bit disappointed. "
