On the road from Florence to Siena in 2007 we stopped at what we thought was a park in which to have lunch. It was made very clear to us when we arrived that it was actually much more than that. The graves of thousands of Americans who died in Italy in WW2 filled hectares of immaculately maintained land.

The Hotel is located walkable (or short train ride) from the main train station and 10 min walk from the city centre, very convenient. Staff is helpful and efficient. Free minibar (non alcoholic) and free welcome drink! Nice clean room. We really enjoyed staying in IQ Hotel!
