Great location for a couple of days - easily walkable into town. The hotel comprises 2 buildings on opposite sides of the street - the older main building (with reception, breakfast, swimming pool, and the low-numbered rooms) has the gated parking, whereas the newer second building has the higher-numbered rooms and additional (non-gated) parking. Don’t expect to check-in before the officially-allowed time - we arrived ant 1:30pm and were told to leave our luggage in the car and come back after...

Great place overall location and quality

Staff at reception greeted us well and were very helpful. The room was nice and well equipped.My partner enjoyed the hot tub.Only disappointment was they couldnt provide their own guests a meal with a meal as the had taken two group bookings from outside the hotel which ment we had to walk out on a windy wet night.

Fantastic service in hotel & bar and fabulous restaurant

We thorougly enjoyed our stay, the staff were friendly and the facilities were super. We were very early in the season so many preparations and improvements were taking place, so we feel it would have been even better a little later into the month. We particularly enjoyed our meals in the restaurant. The beautiful beach was very quiet and the walk along the railway path, and on into the town and harbour was a joy.

A well situated, quiet place to stay in l'ile rousse. My wife was touring the lavender fields of Provence, so I opted for Corsica,I got the best deal. We are both hoping to come here in September, staying in the motel st.Michael. It's value for money.

This was one of the few hotels open in mid March in Calvi. It was really good value for a superior room on the third floor with en-suite facilities and a wonderful view from the bedroom and bathroom windows over the bay of Calvi and the snow capped peaks beyond. The room was clean, the decor was fresh and the bed very comfortable. The welcome was good, room was cleaned daily and all the reception staff were pleasant and helpful. Beautiful and comfortable old country house with lovely garden in an area with amazing scenery. Lovely views of the lake and close to a cute village. Restaurants and cafes closed until Easter in small villages. Great area for hiking in the summer. Owner excellent communicator. Good continental breakfast. Highly recommend. Many thanks
