Very slow checkin ,hotel is very old, no elevator, no landscaping, lack of effort, my room has years of dust on top surfaces, staff must be short. I will not be back , for an extra 20. Dollars i could have stayed somewhere else. Im surprised travel lodge still puts there name out front

There is no elevator. For elderly women traveling alone, an outside or bottom floor room is considered unsafe. We were a bit surprised there was no elevator but choose the 2nd floor for safety reasons. Hauling luggage up the stairs (with a previous knee replacement) isn’t especially easy. But, the staff was apologetic, friendly, & helpful.

I checked out with in an a couple hours of checking in. I felt unsafe homeless people outside of the door exposed to outside, knocking on the door voices outside talking. Bathroom stunk, urine on the shower curtain, hair behind the toilet. Staff did not ask why I was checking out early didn’t seem to care. Charged me for the night. Chose to stay there as close to my condo that was flooded, and needed a place to stay.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, however upon arriving, police cars were in the parking lot evicting drug addicts. Felt unsafe because the people evicted came back a short time later and slept in the parking lot smoking hard drugs. Walked down the hall for continental breakfast in the morning (which was very minimal) and the smell of hard drugs or something burning could be smelt. For me it was annoying, however my wife felt unsafe if she were to be alone.
