"The hotel location is excellent. The room is ok (I suggest asking for one facing the carpark instead of the main road as it will be quieter). However, the hotel reception is open between 9am and midday and then between 5pm and 9pm. This information was not mentioned anywhere on the hotel description. This meant that when we arrived at the hotel at 1pm, so outside these timeframes, we could not even leave our luggage there and we had to dragged the luggage with us for hours until the reception opened later. I have suggested the hotel to include this information on their description to not mislead guests."

"Use this hotel frequently as a stop before and after the tunnel, staff friendly and helpful, rooms ok for money, food decent and very convenient. This trip had problem with hot water, barely tepid."

"Friendly folks who did everything possible to make our stay pleasant! We opted to have dinner at the B&B, and it was delicious, as was the included breakfast. The owners have cats and they also have a pet-friendly policy - I am a bit allergic to cats, but it was not an issue and we did not even mention it. In short, our stay was great and we would stay again if returning to Calais!"
