Booked Le Cercle for one night after Eurotunnel while on a journey from Isle of Man to Nancy. Very helpful while our arrival time was uncertain and with info on restaurants in Calais. Lovely comfortable, quiet night in Calais, easy to find and set up for the day with a continental breakfast. We didn’t have the time to use the sauna or whirlpool bath - an excuse to come back to Le Cercle another time.

This is a gorgeous boutique hotel. I loved my room, it was large and the bathroom was so lush. The morning breakfast was also really good. Everything is super clean and tidy. Lovely place.

Highly recommended
Fantastic host, very friendly, helpful, gives tips for resto and visits, we even received 2 free bottles of cold water. Follows covid rules by providing breakfast in shifts, so that we didn't have contact with other guests. Room was luxurious, spacious and very clean. Breakfast consisted of self made and regional products. Highly recommended!

Good Overnight Stop
Well located with off street parking available in a commercial lot about 2 blocks away (all worked very well checking into the parking after hours and back out again at 4am! Steep stairs to an average room. Fine for an overnight. Shower was excellent, no time for breakfast so no comment. Receptionist was charming. I would stay here again for an overnight stop

Superb Friendly Boutique Hotel in Calais
This is beautiful small friendly hotel, excellent located in Calais. I travelled with my wife and two young daughters and we were given lovely adjoining room with the bathroom in the middle with own doors. Absolutely perfect beds and facilities. The staff were fabulously helpful as we arrived later than the usual Check-in Time and also booked a restaurant for us nearby. We had a really nice classic simple continental French breakfast in the morning. We will definitely be back! Totally recommended.

Great overnight stay in Calais
We had a very nice stay here during our short break in Calais. The manager was very friendly and made us feel at home. The room was very modern and the roll-top bath was great. I'd definitely recommend.

On arrival, owner was hospitable and helped to carry suitcase upstairs. Tried to contact hotel several times to explain we would be late, no answer. The stairs are very, very steep and up two flights to our small room. (This would not be suitable for elderly or people with difficulty walking). Informed the TV was not working, and owner said it is not my fault. Informed the sauna was fully booked for the night, no apologies. Would have been nice to be offered a cup of tea as no facilities in room to make one, and cafe 10 -20 minutes walk. Breakfast poor, ok if you like bread. No meats or even a boiled egg. Asked for green tea and english tea, given darjeeling. One large table for all guests to sit around, no privacy. For the price I would have expected more, stayed at much cheaper hotels which offer more than this. No free toiletries or tea or coffee in room, nor was coffee offered at breakfast only tea. As it was the Christmas period not even a chocolate on the pillow. Would not stay again, building inside is elegant but sometimes that is not enough.
