Location is walkable to esplanade and main city centre, whilst the hotel may be older the rooms are very spacious and clean and the pool and spa were great on a very hot day. The staff here are always super friendly and the onsite carparking is a huge bonus.

The hotel room was okay overall. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the Cairns Esplanade and the outdoor lagoon/pool, which was convenient. The only downside for us was that when it rained there wasn’t really anywhere to go besides the room, as the hotel doesn’t have a common area or indoor space to relax.
