"This is great bang for your buck! Simple accommodations but clean and with everything you need, central location in a beautiful quiet town, lots of great local food walking distance away, and beautiful secluded beaches across the road. Would definitely recommend! "

"Lovely place. The staff was very attentive and bfast was really good! Great location just a few minutes walk to downtown and the national park. Lots of wildlife including howler monkeys. (The monkeys would start their noise around 4am so if you’re a light sleeper, bring ear plugs!) "

"We had some delays on our check-in due to some issues with our car, so we arrived pretty late. However, we called before hand to let the host know and they were extremely nice and understandable, extremely recommended."

"The rooms get poor WiFi service, the WiFi is free and strong everywhere else. Breakfast is good, option for eggs made to order, fruit, breads, rice and beans. Beach club food was ok, nothing great. The pool is clean and lovely, and you came beat the ocean view from the front. Walking to and from the main road was safe at night. The paths in the hotel could be better lit at night. "

"The hostess was nice but due to having no windows it was extremely hot in the room at night. Also the owner has dogs that like to bark when anyone drove by no matter the hour. Luckily the hostess worked with us and let us cancel our reservation to find a more quiet place that had windows and ac."

"The set up of the facility is cool, the rooms are detached bungalows with an outdoor kitchenette. The grounds are beautiful. The 2 pools are very small. The staff was nice, but did not speak any English, just Spanish (FYI). We did not eat at the restaurant, instead choosing to go to Puerto Viejo, just because we liked the town. The room was tidy, but had problems with the shower head and handle on the toilet. The AC worked good. We were the only guests on the property (mid July 2018). The...
