"This property is clean and served a good breakfast. While we usually stay here travelling from Illinois or Michigan going south, we usually stop at the La Quinta in Fultondale on the way north. The difference between the two is ENORMOUS!! This on is worth the money -- Fultondale is not."

"I always enjoy my stay at this hotel. I especially appreciate the ease of access to the mall. This was a short stay but I rested comfortably and all of my needs were met. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There are a few minor things like dead plants in planters that need attention but this did not affect my overall experience and/or satisfaction."

"Overall, we enjoyed our overnight stay at Fairfield, and we would stay there again. The hotel sits far enough off the road to reduce the road noise from two busy highways. However, the driveway is a little hard to find because it is between so many businesses. The hotel was very clean, but our room did have a slight smell of smoke. The hotel is nicely kept, but the hallway on the third floor was extremely hot. I am not sure the air was working in the corridors. The staff was very friendly, especially the front desk check-in clerk and the breakfast hostess; one of the cleaning staff on my floor was a little less friendly. She was blocking the hall, and it almost seemed like it was an inconvenience to have to move over for us to pass her cart. We picked the hotel for its location, and it was ideal for the activities we did while in Pelham."
