Rosario Uno is a beautiful property in the middle of the old city. We were there for three days having taken the train from Córdoba. The streets are closed to car traffic at least on weekends so it was necessary to have the taxi drop us off a short ways from the hotel. Because there is no front desk like a regular hotel, I called in advance to make sure someone was there to let us in. Marina answered and spoke English. She was there to show us around, give us some complimentary water. And answer questions.
The property is in a great location for walking around and finding places to eat. San Francisco Plaza is right there and Mina Square is just down the street. In the other direction, you can walk straight down Calle Rosario, make a left toward the water at the end of the street and you’re right at the main square and the port where you can find all the tourist info.
There were only a couple small complaints. The maid appeared to just make the bed...we ran out of toilet paper and didn’t have enough towels for two people. There were two lights that apparently were burnt out.
The air containing was great and very quiet. We were in the front and we needed to close the windows to keep the street noice out. There were a lot of people on the street till at least 2:00 am. The restaurant on the first floor was excellent.
All in all we had a great stay and would recommend Rosario Uno Aparthotel.
