10/10 Excellent

"Short, 4 day solo break. Far exceeded my expectations - rooms, very large, all areas very clean, no outside noise. Breakfast was really good and included. Nice 'Quiet' pool and gardens along with main pool. Staff very professional, restaurant food was tasty and reasonably priced. Bar staff were really good. Were a few large groups of older males 35+ enjoying themselves, but they went to the 'Old Town' late evening so no problem - was World Cup/wedding season so no issues. Seems to also have 'Coach Tours' some nights. I would not hesitate to return."

Roots Hotel

"Had a great stay at Roots hotel at the end of April. The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful, the rooms were super clean and facilities good. Great to have the kitchenette which was well equipped with pretty much everything you could need. The free coffee machine downstairs was great too with a pleasant seating area both indoors and out. Really good location with everything close walking distance. The only small negative was the safe, which was not attached to the wall, If returning to Faro, would very happily stay here again Tip Really cheap to get a Bolt to and from the airport (less than 10 Euros). Make sure you find the pick up location (which is in car park N1) before you order it - took us a while to find it. But other than that very quick, easy and cheap"

Vale do Lobo Resort

"This is my 2nd stay at this resort. This was again a lovely enjoyable holiday. A special mention to the reception staff from check in to check out were all so friendly and helpful. Plus the free mini bus shuttle service was so reliable and convenient. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We will be back."

Tivoli Marina Vilamoura

"Our second stay here and we will be back. Beautiful location overlooking the marina and the coast. Staff are very friendly, rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is first class. Just a couple of issues worth raising that did not detract from a fabulous week. The lifts can be a little unreliable and were not all working properly on a couple of days; there were a couple of large male groups who were well behaved but it set a slightly different tone from our last visit which felt more family friendly. As a suggestion it would be nice to have somewhere with a food offering like the Oregano in the evening. The Argo has a limited offering and the price point in Peppers is very high accepting that you get what you pay for. We will be back."
