"So this place is amazing and the room specs are awesome. The food is great in the restaurants (albeit the menu never changed the whole time we were there which was 8 nights and ws a little limited) The atmosphere is very chill, a little chic and so quite lovely and it is family friendly which is super nice. It is actually a lovely place to spend time in the day - especially by the main pool. But there are some limitations - they can not do room service (i know it sounds odd but they can't) We waited 1.5 hours for 3 bottles of wine and after that one of the bottles was wrong (we asked fo red and it was white). We had our child's 8th birthday there and we paid for a cake ( two days in advance) it arrived melted and unusable with no candles and when were given the candles there was no lighter (just poor). We ordered again (i know why did we) one night and the pizza wa wrong, the drinks were missing, the sides were omitted - it was just a disastaster and to be ones it let the whole experience down - we tried 3 times to enjoy the benefits of having a two bed suite with pool and we couldn't because the set up of staff is so thin that they cant do room service - which at 20K a week isn't good enough! its jy's not. Sorry guys on the team - but its rubbish and we wouldn't stay again until this is fixed."

"Our first impressions of the hotel were really good. There is a very large lobby and were treated by the reception staff when we checked in. The rooms are very large and have great amenities. We had a room over looking the sunset bar with partial sea view and could not complain. The rooms were modern and very quiet. The cleaning staff were amazing, especially Rosa who cleaned our room most days. The room has tea and coffee making facilities and Rituals soap products. There was a great selection of food at breakfast. The best time to go is before 9am, as it gets very busy between 9-10am. The hotel has 3 pools. A main pool with smaller pool for children and a jacuzzi, a pool just for adults and an indoor heated pool. There is also a gym, 3 restaurants and you are able to access the facilites from the nearby Portobay Falésia hotel which is access through a wooden walkway. The beaches are easily accessible from the hotel, and beach towels are provided by the hotel. There are some excellent restaurants a short walk away from the hotel, and Vilamoura and Albuferia can be access by a short bus/taxi ride."

"Incredible property. Stunning beach with amazing lounge chairs— with availability even during peak season. Amazing breakfast. Fantastic restaurant/bar for lunch in the beach. Only downside was inconsistent and almost non-functioning housekeeping in hotel."
