"We enjoyed our stay while visiting Manistee and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Hotel and room was very clean (room could use a dehumidifier). The breakfast had waffles, hard boiled eggs, breakfast sandwiches (check the fridge). Bed was comfortable. I would stay again! Loved the area. Check out the trolley ride!"

"The room was very clean. Ice wa a available which I appreciate. Lake is across a busy street. Outdoor pool was clean and colorful! Pool toys and goggles available for use. Quaint chairs and table outside each room for relaxing. Wish I could've stayed longer! Very retro vibe"

"Cute cozy cottages that are extremely clean and well thought out. Coffee is provided and some dishes and towels and everything you would need to get you started on vacation with a store within walking distance. We communicated a desire to check in early if available and host was extremely accommodating. Great place would stay again."

"Great place to stay. We were in for a baseball tournament and the staff was great. Good spot outside to have drinks and relax while kids swam. Pricey but worth it."

"Only 35 miles from Traverse City, but you’d think you were further, this remote lodge in the Huron-Manistee National Forest is a hidden gem! Somewhat difficult to get to, but worth it if you want to enjoy nature at its finest! Surrounded by tall pines, you are cut off from all city distractions and can truly relax in nature. Groomed trails for ATV and snowmobiles, if you’re into that (alot of their guests are, but that did not detract from the overall experience). Mine was a summer stay; I expect winter snowmobile traffic would make it more raucous. This is not glamping or a luxury stay; it is a basic “up north” experience that is refreshingly real."
